Designing M2 Earn: four plan types, one familiar flow
Problem
Guide users through four plan types with different rules, without the flow feeling complicated or overwhelming.
My role
Product Designer on M2 Earn, designing every plan flow from amount entry to confirmation.
Key decision
Every plan type follows the same pattern, so users build familiarity as they go.
Outcome
A consistent multi-plan earning experience where every flow ends with confidence, not confusion.
Problem
Four plan types, each with its own rules
Design an Earn experience that guides users through multiple plan types, Fixed, Flexible, FlexPro, and Custom, each with different rules and setups, without making the flow feel complicated or overwhelming.
Solution · One pattern
The same steps for every plan
Every plan type got its own clear flow. Each one follows the same pattern so users build familiarity as they go. Amount input, APR selection, boost options if available, plan overview, and a slide to confirm. No surprises at the end.

Solution · Boost
Standard and boosted APR, side by side
Boost options appear inline at the right moment, not buried in settings. Users see standard versus boosted APR side by side so the decision is immediate and clear.

Solution · Plan overview
Every detail before the slide to confirm
The plan overview screen before confirmation shows every detail in one place. APR, fees, duration, auto renew, and early redemption terms. Users know exactly what they are committing to before they slide to complete.

Solution · VIP tiers
Upgrades shown when they matter
VIP Tiers were surfaced contextually inside the plan flow so users see the upgrade benefit at the exact moment it is relevant to their decision.

Result
Confidence at the end of every flow
A consistent, multi-plan earning experience where every flow ends with user confidence, not confusion.
