Problem
Mandatory compliance that should not feel heavy
As a product designer, my challenge was to translate strict regulatory requirements into an experience that felt simple and not overwhelming. The KYC process was mandatory, but without thoughtful design, it could easily become confusing and difficult to complete.
Solution
Clear steps, plain language, constant feedback
I simplified the KYC journey by breaking it into clear steps, grouping related information, and using plain language to explain what was needed and why. I also focused on flow order and feedback so users always knew where they were and what to do next.
Result
Smoother, more confident onboarding
The final KYC onboarding is clean, easier to navigate, and clear in what users need to do at each step. Users can move through verification with less confusion and fewer errors, creating a smoother and more confident onboarding experience while staying fully compliant with ADGM regulations.
